Superintendent grateful for support

On behalf of the Town of Webb UFSD, I would like to thank all of the groups, individuals, businesses, and other organizations for their contribution to this year’s Commencement Awards and Scholarship Program for the Class of 2008.
Your generous support of our community’s young adults is greatly appreciated by those of us who are associated with the school. On behalf of the graduates and their parents, I thank you for making it possible to recognize and reward the achievements of so many deserving individuals.
Your participation in this event has enabled us to recognize and reward as many seniors as possible in the designated award and scholarship areas. It is our feeling that all qualified and interested graduates deserve this type of recognition at our Commencement ceremony. Without your sponsorship of an award or scholarship, we would be unable to meet this goal for our graduates.
Thank you once again for your continuing support of our district, our programs and, most importantly, of the young people who attend and graduate from the Town of Webb UFSD. We look forward to your continuing participation in this effort next year and express our sincerest thanks for your generous involvement this year.

Farmers Market committee says thank you for opening day support

The Old Forge Farmers Market committee wants to thank all our friends who came out in support on our opening day, Friday, despite the weather. We felt a great sense of community, and hope to see you often. Our vendors were very pleased with the turnout, and said they will be bringing much more this week.
The Farmers Market will be open again this Friday, the Fourth of July, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Park Avenue, behind the Old Forge Hardware, and successive Fridays through Columbus Day. Again, much thanks for your support.
