The Arts Center/Old Forge has announced that the following workshops are being offered:
• Kimberly Berkstresser, Registered Yoga Teacher, will teach yoga from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Fridays, from July 4 to Aug. 29.
• Khoros Performing Arts Company for Kids director Patricia Rickard-Lauri will teach a basic theater workshops from July 7 to 11, July 14 to 18, and July 21 to 25.
• Bruce Thomas will teach pottery classes from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, from July 8 to Aug. 12. Beginning wheel thrown pottery to midlevel skills will be taught.
• Cathy Thomas will teach Figure Drawing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, from July 8 to Aug. 12. This class is open to all ability levels and introduces a simple technique for learning proper human proportions.
• Make a Totem Pole with Andree Dennis Newton, an Abenaki Indian artist. She will teach totem wood carving and primitive design from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on July 10, 17, and 31.
