Harvey H. Kaiser will offer a program entitled "Great Camps of the Adirondacks, 25 Years Later" at the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake on Monday, July 7. The slide-illustrated presentation will be held in the museum's auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Kaiser's talk is based on his book "Great Camps of the Adirondacks," a study of rustic architecture from 1870 to 1930. Kaiser will preface his talk with a history of the Adirondacks, and he will make the case for the preservation of these structures. ABOVE: Echo Camp is a well-known example of Adirondack great camp architectural style.
