Patrick Venetz (whose mother is a cancer survivor), Kaylin Parent, and Kelsey Kiefer look at the names listed on one of the honor ribbons that were placed on the trees in front of the Town of Webb school on Thursday, May 1 as part of a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. The ribbons honor everyone who has been affected by cancer in some way. The students solicited a $1 donation for each name listed, and the proceeds of $130 will go to the American Cancer Society. If you would like to add a name to the honor ribbon, contact the school as they will continue to add names. The purple ribbon project is being done by the same group of students that will participate in Relay for Life, another fundraiser for the ACS that will take place in June.
